Ignacio Luque López

Ignacio (Nacho) Luque López is a graduado social (Spanish labour relations adviser) and employment consultant specialising in high-volume payroll management and employment advisory work. He joined Welllaw Abogados’ employment department in June 2024, where he is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, the full social security and tax withholding cycle and employment advice to companies.

He previously worked at EY (Ernst & Young) in Málaga (2023-2024) as a Payroll Specialist, supporting personnel administration and payroll management in a large international consultancy. There he took part in reviewing and auditing payroll processes to detect and correct discrepancies in contributions and withholdings, and in analysing employment queries from the client portfolio together with the legal and Human Resources teams.

· High-volume payroll: monthly and one-off payroll processing under multiple collective agreements and complex pay structures, including flexible remuneration, the exemption for work performed abroad (article 7.p of the Spanish Personal Income Tax Act) and benefits in kind (company cars, shares, etc.).
· Social security and taxes: preparation and filing of social security contributions and of withholdings for residents (forms 111 and 190) and non-residents (forms 216 and 296).
· Employment advice: hiring, dismissals and substantial changes to working conditions, with a rigorous focus on statutory and case-law compliance. >>
· Proficient in the main employment-related systems: Sistema RED, SILTRA, Contrat@, Certific@2, Delt@, A3 NOM and A3 Innuva.

· Master’s degree in Human Resources: People Management, Talent Development and Employment Management, EIP Escuela Internacional de Posgrados (2022-2023).
· Degree in Labour Relations and Human Resources, University of Málaga (2015-2019).
· Preparation for the competitive examination for the Spanish Corps of Employment and Social Security Sub-inspectors, subgroup A2 (2019-2022).
