2. Information on the regulated profession
The legal profession (abogacía) is a regulated profession in Spain. The professionals who provide legal services through Welllaw Abogados are practising lawyers (abogados ejercientes) who hold an official university degree in Law awarded in Spain and the qualification required to practise, and are members of the relevant Bar Association. Among them, Mr Federico Pérez-Padilla Díaz-Castanys, member no. 6998 of the Málaga Bar Association.
Professional practice is governed, among others, by the following rules, available online:
- Royal Decree 135/2021 of 2 March approving the General Statute of the Spanish Legal Profession (Estatuto General de la Abogacía Española).
- Code of Conduct of the Spanish Legal Profession (Código Deontológico de la Abogacía Española), approved by the Plenary of the General Council of the Spanish Legal Profession on 6 March 2019.
- Law 2/2007 of 15 March on Professional Companies.
- The by-laws and ethical rules of the Málaga Bar Association.
In accordance with Article 11.3 of Law 2/2007, the firm holds insurance covering the liability it may incur in the course of its professional activity. Details of the insurer and the geographical scope of cover are available on request at admin@welllaw.es.
3. Purpose and terms of use
The Website provides information about Welllaw Abogados, its team and its practice areas. Access and browsing are free of charge and confer the status of user, who accepts these terms in the version published at any given time. Users undertake to use the Website properly, in accordance with the law, good faith and public order, and not to use it for unlawful purposes or in a way that may harm the rights of Welllaw Abogados or third parties.
4. Informational nature of the content
The content of the Website, including blog articles and news, is for general information purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, is no substitute for a professional’s analysis of each specific case, and may not reflect legislative or case-law developments after its publication. Browsing the Website or sending a message through it does not in itself create a lawyer-client relationship, which arises only upon express acceptance of a professional engagement.
5. Intellectual and industrial property
The Website’s design, texts, photographs, logos, trade marks, trade names and other distinctive signs, as well as its source code, belong to Welllaw Abogados or to third parties who have authorised their use, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law. The Website may contain links to, or embedded content from, third parties (for example, maps or social networks). Welllaw Abogados does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content, services or privacy policies, which we recommend you review. If you become aware that a link leads to unlawful content, please let us know so that we can remove it.

Welllaw Abogados endeavours to ensure that the information on the Website is accurate and up to date and that the Website works properly, but does not guarantee the absence of errors, interruptions or harmful elements. To the extent permitted by law, it accepts no liability for damage arising from the use of the information on the Website or from technical incidents beyond its control. Welllaw Abogados may modify the content and configuration of the Website at any time without prior notice.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute relating to the Website shall be submitted to the Courts of Málaga, unless applicable law, in particular consumer protection law, provides for a different forum.
This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version shall prevail.
